Diehl says the US Mint will make a profit of twenty cents for every quarter. Close up on large designs for the states of Connecticut and Georgia seen. Diehl says the quarters with state designs will be released in the order in which the state joined the Union. Diehl says there will be a great demand for the quarters from collectors. Lauer says 750 million quarters is not a lot when you have to do laundry and Couric and others off camera laugh. Diehl says he only recently became a coin collector.
