Reverse
The “Trades of America” reverse features a male tradesperson with a wrench and a female tradesperson holding a hammer. The pair represent the strength, unity, and pride of the American workforce. Rising behind them is a city skyline and construction crane, symbolizing the progress made possible by skilled hands. Gear motifs encircle the scene, with the mikeroweWORKS Foundation seal at the base and “TRADES OF AMERICA” above.
Obverse
The obverse depicts a majestic American bald eagle holding a shield bearing the U.S. flag, symbolizing the resilience of America’s workforce. The words “AMERICA AT WORK” are inscribed above, with the Cook Islands crest and the coin’s weight, purity, metal (“Ag” for silver) and legal-tender denomination below.

A couple years ago, my friends at U.S. Money Reserve asked if I’d like to hand-deliver 5 oz. silver coins to surviving members of the Greatest Generation—100-year-old WWII veterans. An absolute privilege to present.
In fact, I even visited the mint in Germany, where those coins were struck, and got a full tour from my friend Oscar—watching raw silver transformed into a work of art. While there, it hit me: a coin series would be a great way to honor America’s tradespeople.
